WARMING UP THE BAND

In 1970 I began working as Road Manager for HEADS HANDS & FEET and got my first taste of the music business touring all over the UK and Europe. HH&F were a great live band and included  the world renowned guitarist Albert Lee  and bassist Chas Hodges. In June 1972 the band embarked on their first tour of the USA as the opening act for bands such as JETHRO TULL, PROCUL HARUM, HUMBLE PIE and THE ALLMAN BROTHERS amongst others. This proved to be a great experience for me working on big concerts with some of the most successful artists of the period.
